Go into any High Street shop at the weekend and you're likely to see a line of men waiting outside the changing room looking very bored.
In fact, the sight has become so ubiquitous that social media users have been sharing hilarious photographs showing just how miserable husbands and boyfriends look as they wait for their other halves.
Many use the opportunity to have a nap, while others turn to their phones for entertainment as they wait for their partners to finish shopping - as these photos shared on Reddit show.
Like father, like son: One snap shows this pair fast asleep as they wait for the mother to finish shopping

A number of the men take advantage of the array of comfortable chairs on offer in shops.
Leather armchairs seem to be a favourite, while one man makes use of an unusual round basket chair to take a snooze.
Meanwhile one adorable snap shows a father and son both fast asleep as they wait for the mother to finish shopping.
Many of the men are tasked with looking after the shopping bags, while others can be seen clutching drinks bought from the fast food shop.

A hilarious social media account Miserable Men of Instagram also captures the despair of husbands and boyfriends as they trail after their other halves.
The humorous feed has amassed more than 70,000 followers after sharing pictures of men outside changing rooms and sulking in shop windows.
