She
may be the daughter of a tennis champion but Anna Ermakova stepped
firmly out of Boris Becker's shadow as she made her first appearance at
London's premier Debutante's Ball.
The
15-year-old, who is the lovechild of the five-time Wimbledon winner and
Russian model Angela Ermakova, looked the spitting image of her father
as she posed at the exclusive Queen Charlotte Ball in Kensington Palace,
London on Friday.
Her
mother, Angela, 47, famously had a fling with Boris in London hotspot
Nobu back in 1999, resulting in the birth of Anna, but the former lovers
are now on good terms.

The
beautiful Anna aced it in the style stakes, giving a whole new meaning
to the term 'tennis whites' as she donned a stunning gown for the Queen
Charlotte's Ball, a pinnacle event of the London Season which was formed
over two hundred years ago.
Miss
Ermakova certainly turned heads in an exquisite, strapless gown
featuring a full-skirted tulle overlay and an opulent fitted bodice
adorned with intricate lacework.
She offset the ensemble with a tasteful smattering of diamonds, bedazzled vintage-style hairpieces and simple ivory satin pumps.
Her
mother Angela was also in attendance and showed off her model
credentials in an exquisite beaded yellow gown which she topped off with
a fur stole and drop chandelier earrings.

Although
Anna may have inherited his father's distinctive auburn locks and fair
complexion, she has followed in her model mother's choice of career,
making her catwalk debut at Berlin Fashion Week for designer Riani back
in January.
She
was recently signed to Mega Modelling Agency and as her profile states,
her height - she is 5ft 10 - and striking features have got her noticed
among talent hawks despite her youth.
Now
she says she has a 'mind of my own' and is only allowed to pursue her
dream of a modelling career 'because I am doing so well at school.'
She
is the lovechild of Becker and Angela and was conceived during a
scandalous, short-lived and much disputed encounter at the London
outpost of celebrity haunt Nobu in 1999.
Her
mother Angela Ermakova initially claimed the liaison took place in a
store cupboard but Becker later confessed they had made love on a
staircase between two bathrooms.
The
tennis champ had allegedly been out drinking following losing a main
draw singles match at the Wimbledon Championships, in what had been a
come-back to the venue of his greatest success. Becker initially denied
paternity, but admitted he was the child's father after a DNA test. In
November 2007, he obtained joint custody of Anna.

Anna
may have a promising career as a model ahead of her, but of course the
clued-up young teen has said she knows that it is a fact that her name
opens doors, saying; 'Yes, but I cannot make myself unknown.'
Still
she is carving out a name for herself, having starred in German label
Riani's autumn/winter 2015 show in January, modelling a series of
dresses for the brand before walking the catwalk with Riani designers
Ulrich Schulte and Isi Degel.

And
Anna's appearance at the exclusive Queen Charlotte's Ball won't go
amiss either as the teen establishes herself on the London scene. The
Ball is the pinnacle event in the London Season, which is rich in
history and was formed over two hundred years ago when the custom of
returning to London at the end of the hunting season was celebrated with
glittering balls and high society events.
The
modern group of meticulously selected debutantes continue the tradition
and celebrate their year of charity fund raising, etiquette classes and
debut at the Ball.
The
young ladies, usually aged between 17 and 20 and wearing designer
dresses, attend the grand ball where they are presented to guests and
curtsy to the Queen Charlotte Cake. King George III introduced the Queen
Charlotte's Ball in 1780 to celebrate his wife's birthday and
debutantes were traditionally presented to the King or Queen until

Anna
may have chosen the modelling route, but no-one can ignore her father's
outstanding sporting heritage. The German former professional tennis
player is a six-time singles champion, and holds the distinction of
being the youngest ever men's champion when he won Wimbledon as a
fresh-faced 17-year-old.
On
17 December 1993, Becker married actress and designer Barbara Feltus On
18 January 1994, their son Noah Gabriel, named after Becker's friends
Yannick Noah and Peter Gabriel, was born. Their second child, Elias
Balthasar, was born on 4 September 1999.
Becker
later asked Barbara for a separation in December 2000, and Becker was
granted a divorce on 15 January 2001 with Barbara receiving a whopping
$14.4 million settlement.

It is easy to spot the similarities
between tennis champ Boris Becker and his beautiful young daughter
thanks to their fair complexion and signature auburn-hued locks
Boris,
47, has opened up about his tricky family situation in his new book,
Boris Becker’s Wimbledon, revealing he still harbours regrets about the
situation because it ruined his marriage and made life difficult for
poor Anna.
He wrote: 'I was embarrassed and very sad about how it happened, and about the way it broke up my family.
'It left Anna’s mother and me having to set about being parents without any relationship of our own to fall back on.'
The
tennis champ acknowledged paternity of a daughter, Anna - born 22 March
2000 - in February 2001 with Angela. In November 2007, he obtained
joint custody of Anna and the couple are now on good terms.
