The Russian ex-gymnast rumoured to have a secret family with Vladimir Putin has appeared in public with what appear to be her two children for the first time.
Alina Kabaeva, 33, who has been linked to the Russian president as far back as 2008, took two young boys - whose ages are unknown - to an ice skating show at the Megasport Arena in Moscow.
One witness said the glamorous Olympian wore a wedding ring which she tried to hide from the cameras.
Putin, 63, who announced he was divorcing wife Lyudmila in 2013, routinely refuses to speak about his private life.
Kabaeva, a former gold medal winning rhythmic gymnast, has gone on record to deny having a relationship with the Russian president - and yet the speculation continues.

Looking slim and elegant, a smiling Kabaeva attended an ice skating show at the Megasport Arena in Moscow, where she sat next to two young boys - a blone and a red head
Kabaeva's outing set off a new wave of rumours that she and Putin had been together, though she has long denied the allegations

Her outing sparked a fresh wave of rumours she has been engaged in a years-long relationship with the Russian strongman while others Moscow gossip columns suggest the two have ended their affair.
None of the claims have been independently verified.
The photos of Kabaeva and the two boys were taken on the eve of the recent Russian parliamentary elections, which were won by the United Russia party founded by Putin.
Kabaeva, who wore an elegant cream coat over a finely embroidered black dress, took a picture of the boys with world figure skating champion Yevgeny Plyuschenko and legendary gymnast Alexei Nemov.
'Do you understand who the people are that you're standing next to? Be proud of it' she snapped at one of them, according to the Moskovsky Komsomolets newspaper.
It reported that Kabaeva, whose private life is considered a 'top secret matter', did not specify if these boys were related to her.
Alina Kabaeva commented on the show to one of the boys from time to time. 'And later during the break she photographed the boy with Yevgeny Plyuschenko (world champion figure skater) and Alexei Nemov (world champion gymnast)
One source present at the event said Alina Kabaeva wore a wedding ring, but tried to cover her hand to hide it in pictures
The Uznayvse website claimed it is 'known' that Kabaeva has children but the identity of the father has remained a mystery.
She is rarely seen in public but when she is, the former gymnast is accompanied by a large security detail which is believed to be government-organised.
Claims of a relationship between Putin and Kabaeva fist began in 2008 when it was reported by a Moscow newspaper run by media tycoon and former KGB spy Alexander Lebedev.
There were rumours that Kabaeva was pregnant last May when she attended a girls' gymnastics competition in Moscow wearing a loose-fitting red dress which appeared to be hiding a baby bump.
Russian media said she looked slightly 'overweight' and 'older' in the dress which was in stark contrast to her usual, figure-hugging ensembles.
In October the same year, a slim-line Kabaeva was spotted wearing a ring on her right hand for the first time.

'Guests at the event were impressed not only with the fit body of the sportswoman, who is in great shape now, but also with the ring on her wedding finger,' Russian Cosmopolitan reported. The Kremlin refused to comment.
Much of the Russian media refuses to speculate on Putin's private life and, at the time, Putin bemoaned the 'erotic fantasies' of journalists who poked their 'snotty noses' into other people's lives.
In July of that year, the Sobesednik paper claimed Kabayeva pulled out of taking part in a televised ice skating show because she was pregnant. The report rapidly vanished from the net.
Some of her interviews have fueled suspicions that she was romantically linked with Putin.
Kabaeva, who has been dubbed 'Russia's First Mistress' by some, said she had met a man who 'I love very much' but refused to name him.
She went on: 'Sometimes you feel so happy that you even feel scared.'
Putin has previously made clear: 'I have a private life in which I do not permit interference....it must be respected.'
Though widely seen as one of her country's most desirable and famous sportswomen, who once posed semi-naked for Russian Maxim, it has been more than a decade since she has been romantically linked to anyone other than Putin.

While inviting photographers to his bare-chested macho photo stunts in Siberia, he is less keen on allowing Russians to know about his domestic arrangements.
