Is it the Palace of Versailles or one Canadian couple's $17.8m copy? Mansion built by husband and wife for 18th century-themed wedding... and sold just three months later

A well-to-do Canadian couple are selling their opulent $17.8 million mansion, which has a palace-like balcony purpose-built for the newlywed's first kiss.
The 24,000 square foot Château de Versailles in Vaughan has six-bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, an extended driveway that fits 30 cars and a foyer big enough to fit a shopping mall inside.
Its owners, two entrepreneurs, had fallen in love with France's Palace of Versailles during regular visits over the past eight years and wanted to bring some of that splendor home.

'I know this sounds corny, but we built the home to have our wedding kiss on the balcony,' the owner, who asked not to be named, told The Toronto Star.
However it took so long to get every detail perfect, the nuptials had to be postponed several times.
In the end it took five years to finish. The wedding went ahead just over a year ago, before a crowd of 100 family and friends.
